Boots: Ultimate Soldier boots fit tight and are often very difficult to put on and off. Pour a little baby powder in the boots and they will go on and off easier.
Broken pieces: Ultimate Soldier accessories are small and delicate and break sometimes. No problem! Just glue them back together with super glue.
Use a hobby knife to carefully slice between the trigger finger and middle finger. Now your soldier can "pull the trigger."
The German belts are made of a vinyl material that breaks sometimes. Broken belts can be replaced with 1/4" elastic or ribbon or even real leather. Remove the buckle from the broken belt. Cut the ribbon to size. Thread the ribbon through the buckle and sew it in place. You can also replace a belt if you just want a different color. Stiffen the end of the ribbon with super glue so it won't unravel.
Web gear: Some of the suspenders are tricky to get connected to the web belt; for instance the one in the 82nd Airborne figure. Once you get it adjusted how you like, stitch the harness to the belt so it will stay.
Poke an extra hole in your German belt so it won't be too tight.
Iron your uniforms: they look better ironed. You can get rid of wrinkles, plus use starch on the collar so it lays flat.
Boxed sets: The Ultimate Soldier boxed sets are the best, they have pieces you can't get in either the carded uniforms or carded figures. For example the red beret in the British paratrooper set, and the gas mask canister and bread bag in the German sets.
